P.O.D. Ready For A Brawl
October 28, 2005Launch Radio Networks reports: P.O.D. gets back in front of live audiences on November 11 in San Jose, California, when the band joins STAIND, TAPROOT and FLYLEAF on the Fall Brawl tour. P.O.D. drummer Wuv told Launch that the group is raring to go. "It's about time for us, you know what I mean? When you get off the road, everybody's kinda burned out and you wanna go home and do your thing," he said. "We've been home for a while, you know, recording this new record, so everybody's kinda gettin' the itch to hit the road again, especially, you know, to roll out with the STAIND guys and TAPROOT guys. It should be a good tour, man, it should be fun. We're lookin' forward to it, no doubt."
P.O.D. will release a seven-track EP called "The Warriors EP Vol. 2" on November 15. The disc will serve as an appetizer to the band's upcoming new album, "Testify", which is due out in January. A single from "Testify", called "Goodbye For Now", will arrive at radio stations by the middle of November.
"Testify" will follow up the San Diego-based band's 2003 effort, "Payable On Death". The Fall Brawl tour begins on November 8 in Seattle, Washington for the other three bands, with P.O.D. joining on November 11. Dates are booked through December 14.
